I need some advice on Phimosis Creams

Can anyone recommend any cream one can use ?
Does one need a Doctor Prescription...

Any advice will do...

I came across by reading Adco-Bethamethasone....

Not sure of any others.

1. see a doctor (don't treat it yourself)
2. get some antibiotics and cortizone from doctor
3. WASH penis
4. get circumcised (you can have it done with local anaesthetic if you're afraid of general anaesthetic)

Circumcision isn't the only option.

I had phimosis till about last year (well into my adult life). It's painful but if you don't want to do an op I suggest going to a good urologist. He will suggest a steriod based cream (its currently in South Africa, so I can't give you the name. If you wait till next week I can. PM me. I didn't need to use all of it and it was fine about a few weeks after)

It still gets a little tight but thats because I don't have sex as much ;) At least I can clean it properly now and I don't suffer from inflammation like I used to every so often.

I'd highly recommend seeing a doctor. They can give you a lot of options. I'm glad mine suggested using the cream and then if I still wanted to, get snipped. He highly recommended the circumsition but said that if I find I function normally and I'm comfortable with it as it is then I should leave it.

Took me around 4 years to work up the guts to just go. But trust me, its well worth it and you'll feel much more confident about yourself!

Oh and I think you need a prescription for this. Not 100% sure. It is used to treat some other skin ailment as well which could be dangerous with overuse. The lady at the pharmacy told me not to go into direct sunlight when applying the cream.

I just laughed my ass off in my head, cause I wasn't going to go tanning naked anytime soon...

Why not get a curcimcission?

Some people actually like what they're born with. I've read about many disgruntled adult males who hate their parents for snipping them when they're young.

It's an easy way out for him if he does this (not going to debate postive/negative about both)

Like I said in my reply to him, if he feels comfortable with himself as is and this is the only problem he faces, there are other alternatives.

I have been doing research myself on the internet about this topic many kids/adults do suffer from it. I was just worried that I was abnormal or something but after doing research felt more comfortable coming out and talking about this topic subject but I have gained much more confidence ever since reading a couple of Health forums and Wikipedia, I will ask the Dr. If he could recommend me a cream.

I have not had sex, but about to go into that state :)
So, just preparing myself in case I do tear then will have to be rushed to the hospital.

If you can give me the name of the cream. I can contact the chemist and check with them if I do need a prescription.

LMFAO - She never knew what you were really going to use the cream for :) but give me the name no rush. If it does make a difference it will be a good start and does it retract the skin once you do use the cream..

Boy, after reading this im glad im a girl! he he!

I think you better take that back. Some women also suffer from clitoral phimosis

I'm not. I found the kink in women's pleasure armor. I figured that you had it lucky having multiple orgasms and what not. (Aside from the caveat of you perhaps falling pregnant and all that old women stuff you have at a later stage)

Bladder infections for too much (or hard) sex.

So HA! :p I'm glad I'm not a woman..... no really I am. I wouldn't be able to concentrate at work cause I'd be playing with my boobs too much...

I'm not cut and have no problem with any foreskin /touch wood

I was just wondering, didn't you guys practice the manhood ? I mean that would make easy passage for the skin yes ?

That might be the reason I never had a problem, all the practice :D

Or is it a real condition that happens due to swelling or what not ? Sorry guys I just need to know cos I have a little boy and need to keep an eye out for these kind of things. He's turning 3 January and I need to start showing him how to cock the foreskin so he can was it.

Well I was never told as young child I had to pull the foreskin back and front :P

Who tought you how to practise :P....

Type in "Foreskin Erection" on google, you'll fild various men with foreskin they cannot retract, if they do try swelling occurs, skin might tear etc. Saw like about 1000 post or more on a forum.. .

I think you better teach your young one now, how to clean etc...
This is a serious subject...

Agreed 100%

My father has no foreskin but he made sure I knew how to clean it as far back as I can remember :) I will need to show my laaitie also. As for the practice :D I think that just came as second nature :D

As for your condition, it can not be very fun. Best would be to go see a doc that has experience with this field. Remember, you only need to look him in the face once and then never again. So go hear what he has to say and then if need be so see another. But don;t have yourself cut mate. Try alternative things first, having skin has it's benefits ;)

I am not depressed going to die a virgin :) --- If I do have sex, then the foreskin can tear would be a lovely experience for first time. I was younger in my 16's back then but was to shy and not open enough to talk about this... Now I am much older much more wise and more open.

I do not want myself CUT -- I heard ladies like FORESKIN :)
Just the downfall with FORESKIN you more likely to get STD easy.

That is debatable but yes, I think it makes sense. Just keep your "tollie" out of ashtrays and you will be fine :) I have never had any STD I'm aware of :)

But just keep it clean.

Maybe a tip when taking a pee, hold the front closed and let the foreskin blow up with the pee then let go. Might help to stretch it a bit, I do it often as it looks cool :D

Haha, never tried that.

When I was younger I remember the doctor tell me to pull it back and clean it properly. And practice doing it.

Dude. It hurts like hell. I just left it (know I shouldn't, but try slamming your dick into a door, like a bit of it so that it pinches... it'll hurt for days on end)

With the cream the doc prescribed I had minor discomfort (was a weird experience and because it wasn't desensitized enough, a bit sensitive) but NONE OF THE PAIN experienced while pulling it back normally as they told you to do when you're a kid.

My mom used to ask me if I did it like the doctor said and I lied and said yes. Dude, seriously. It hurt like hell.

Sex is also a huge discomfort when you have phimosis. And you stand a chance of what is called para-phimosis (which means the skin won't retract back at all)

Now... here's the crazy part. Cock rings work in the way where they restrict the bloodflow from your penis to go back in your body (aka, get a floppy) so with para-phimosis its not possible to push the foreskin back over the head due to the errection which causes a lot of discomfort and pain plus a constant hardon. You'd think its a bonus, but it hurts so god damn much its not fun. And you stand a chance of losing your dong.

First time I had sex (with the condom) the girl went down to hard, with a condom you can control it not retracting all the way but hey, thats part of natural sex I suppose. It pushed back entirely and my first time was painful (as well as my 2nd/3rd/4th and 5th time)

I just decided enough is enough. So I went to the doc. It enjoyable now, but its a mission because I'm so sensitive still. So I rely on my oral skill ;)

Phimosis doesn't just hurt a little. It hurts a lot.

Of course it does hurt like hell pulling your foreskin, then it goes RED, RED, RED, sometimmes you can pull it back, and cannot roll it. When I am stiff I have no problem pulling the skin only when the manhood grows that is where the problem is "(

I thought sex was suppose to be enjoyable not end up in pain, sounds like torture worst than BDSM.

Did you cry when having sex? I have tried pulling the skin back and I feel like crying... With a condom it is better :)

Oral is good start always :).

lol no. no crying during sex. thats just unmanly. I just whimper inside for a bit. normally the girl doesn't give a **** so she doesn't notice me wincing.
