I need the brains trust.

Went to twt after the first time it happens and they say is perfect. Now it happens daily.
then i would check terminals , and where the earth straps connect tot he chassis,

When you try start, does the dash go dead as well?

Yup. Open door, dash and interior lights go on. Key in. Turn ignition on and all dead.

Aren't you Chinese? Haval or chery will go well with your current theme.

What I am saying is you might have a kak battery
Test the battery under load

Also check lose connections if battery fakes it like @epah does sometimes

More ****ed than a dead possum at an animal morgue run by a necrophylliac on Viagra and those little pills you get at the garage.

I swear, you guys are funnier than Eddie Izzard on crack   :ROFL:

If the battery checks out as ok, then it’s likely a bad connection somewhere , as a test, what you could try

Firstly as someone mentioned above, check the battery terminals, if they good, try using one jumper lead, put one end on negative and the other on the engine , or another solid chassis point , this would eliminate a bad ground somewhere

Be sure to use the negative, don’t need to cook anything

Battery sits on 12.14. After a couple of minutes I get 12.09.

What does that mean?
The battery is going flat rather quickly. Batteries don't like cold weather. Go to a battery place and get them to test the battery under load. Or, as the sewing machine is still under warranty go to the dealer and see what he says.

Factory battery? Age? If you know someone with a good charger (Ctek or Optimate), connect it over the weekend and see what happens once it is fully charged. If it still messes you around then, time for a new battery.3

My previous battery didn't give much warning in advance. Two days of slower cranking, and the third day, dead as a dodo.

Ok thanks

correct, why pay for a batter , when a warranty will :D

My 4 x4 battery threatened to die on me last winter, but I nursed it through till summer and all was okay. Then I went away for 3 weeks. On my return, the battery tested mors dood. But with the help of start assist from the deep cycle battery in the back, I got the 4 x 4 going again and put the battery back on intensive care. I am determined to see if I can get 6 years out of it before replacing it (18 May will be exactly 6 years.). But, my intensive care program seems to have worked again. I might just go for 7 years.

Similar problem where I took one of the cars in to the stealership under warranty. Apparently the ignition wasn't making contact with the key. They apparently bent the pins in the ignition for a tighter fit and haven't had that issue since.

By the time you get there, the battery has warmed up in the engine so the symptoms would be less severe. Battry giving trouble this time of year, mostly indicative of a dead or dying battery.

What battery brand and type is it by the way?

Do warranties also pay for bowlers?
