Fuel consumption on the old Grand Cherokee is not anything near what you are getting on your new Cherokee. It was quite bad. Even on the open road it will tear you a new one Unless you have deep pockets, I do not know. But yeah, maybe try looking into an older Cherokee..

Pretty much, yeah. Two of my friends have older Grand Cherokees. Both guzzle like there's no tomorrow.

I have tuff stuff insurance for my 4x4! They recover your vehicle and have it towed home in case of accident or breakdown...
