HI everyone,

My dad lives in an old age home and one of the men who lives there is turning 81 tomorrow.
He has no family, very few friends and is extremely lonely.
You would really make his day if could give him a call tomorrow; tell him you heard he is turning 81 and you just wish him a really happy 81st birthday.
His name is Mr Hammand and you can call him on $$$$$$$$$$$$.

This is an amazing idea.

I'll give him a call. Please let this be real and not some sick joke on an old man...
 
Anyway to verify if this is legit? Can one of the mods call the number and find out and if it isn't remove the number.

But it's sad to know people will actually do such things. One can't even do good anymore.

It's legit.
I just called him now and wished him happy birthday :). He asked who I was, told him a friend of a friend of a friend...member of a community that wishes him all the best.

Hey man, what if this overwhelms the timer? Maybe you should coordinate the number of people calling.
