I ordered a HTC One M8 off ebay last week and the last detail I have on the tracking is,

Consolidation Arrived - Pending Customs Clearance and inbound scan 2014-04-21T08:22:02-04:00

I was wondering if anyone knew who I can contact locally to get more information about where it is in SA and who the courier is that will be delivering it as my customs were prepaid on purchase.

Necro-bump

Anyone know this, just ordered off amazon.co.uk and they've sent via i-parcel instead of aramex.

If they hand to SAPO I need to cancel :/

Spoke to a bunch of people, seems UPS are getting a lot of queries about this since the beginning of the month, the tracking numbers don't register on their system so they've got no idea... Heard it from 2 people that it'll go via the Post Office though. Also called Fedex and the lady had no clue what I was talking about.

As it's for a customer I'm not going to be the guinea pig but seems something has changed from Amazon, huge balls up if they've gone back to SAPO...

From my experience with UPS i-Parcel, they have always loaded to FedEx Express in SA to do the physical delivery. Obviously, this changes case by case due to logistical reasons. I have never seen Amazon’s shipping partners, ever since the SAPO strike dilemma, load to SAPO. Strange indeed.

FINALLY got a reply out of i-parcel and Fulcrum is correct, they hand over to Fedex Express here in SA for local delivery.

Although no-one at Fedex or UPS in South Africa has any clue about this...

Oh and i-parcel is shyte.
