It's a case in point about the whole ball grabbing concept of the iPhone, cripples and restrictions at every turn, so corporations have you where they want you.
Ok, it's a very attractive gadget/toy/mp3 plyr/phone/thingy that has 'some' practical purposes. But if you want to make the most out of it. You gotta jailbreak it, and be prepared to maintain it that way.
Otherwise you're just a slave to the contract.
My brother is happy with his, although he does get snappy when I criticise it (signs he may be in denial). But for me, it's not worth it. I got enough bills and tech bollocks in my life.
