and omg. WTF?!?! people asking gearscore for toc10?!?!?! :wtf: what utter sad people. so this guy asks me for my GS for toc10, and I reply 9001. and the reply is "what?!" f***ing rejects.

on an aside. I logged in last nite about 1900 or so, and all was peachy, 250-350 ms latency, and then BOOM, about 2200 or so everything went for a ball of snot, eventually stopped trying to log in and went to bed. webafrica shaped on a 38(4)k line with battleping and the leatrix patch installed. dont think it was webafrica, pretty sure it was battle ping, because eventually I couldnt even connect with it

anyone else having similar issues?

dear lord let seacomm be up when I get home tonite

seacom dont effect webafrica, i was under 300ms last night with battleping in 25 man raid(no dc), maybe its your line :)

yes ive seen 5100gs for toc 10, low pop realm you can maybe get off without gs, but high pop ,high end realm you will need gs if you want to pug :(

aye, but the isps that have been using seacomm have been using all the other cables etc as a redundancy backup. and I cant imagine WA has its own dedicated undersea cable. some of the people at WA have said to me that quite a few gamers have been complaining about all sorts regarding their games. heehee its orsum being anal about computer games isnt it :D

WA + private proxy here, 230ms all night, everything fine. And WA has GOLD acct/status whatever you call it on sat, ie they have 1st priority or something like that. I'm sure tinuva can tell you more about it.

Get used to GS bull if you are a pugger.

battleping and the leatrix patch installed
From my experience with these lowping services, TCPAckFrequency change only caused severe lag and disconnects during raids (overflow of data). You should either use battleping or leatrix, not both at the same time.

Na both of them are fine, been running both for over a year and still I have a stable 230ms with no problems

Does Leatrix Latency Fix work with tunneling services?
Using Leatrix Latency Fix with a tunneling service probably won't give you any benefit, so you should decide to go with one or the other. There really is no way to find out which works best for you other than trying both for yourself. The results really depend on a number of factors which are unique to your connection.

From different sources all around the net.
1) It's not necessary to use leatrix with these services since it won't actually give any improvements
2) Messing with the TCPAckFrequency can bottleneck your network
I am seeing lower latency values after installing Leatrix Latency Fix, however, I'm now experiencing lag spikes, especially during periods of frantic activity in dungeons. Why is that?
The increased frequency of acknowledgements may have caused your routers buffer to fill up (essentially creating a traffic jam). Very few people have reported this problem, but it's more likely to occur when you have more than one computer on your network, you are running software which produces lots of network activity or you're connected to a wireless network. If possible, try using a different router with only your computer connected directly to it and don't run network intensive background applications while playing (such as P2P or voice comms).
IOW, your PC will be bombarding their network with useless packets and therefor get disconnected.
