I think I need a bluetooth mouse.

What about this?
The logitech V270 (Small, Bluetooth)

I've got a logitech V500 and altough it's not bluetooth, it's still wireless. It works great, and it claims the batteries last 1 year - so 3 months into it - we'll see!

It cost about the same, so there isn't really a great deal in it. I just liked the USB version because I can use it as an "emercency" mouse when my bluetooth MX1000 doesn't work on my PC (which happens occasionally - like when my cellphone rings).

I've linked to Megastore, cause I find them to be the cheapest. Just beware they charge x% if you pay with a credit card blah blah blah...but the V270 is R429 on their site, compared to R499 everywhere else.

I had a wireless setup a while back which is now steadily collecting dust somewhere in my closet...

I've gotten myself a Logitech G5 laser mouse and the Logitech G15 keyboard and boy am I impressed! Do yourself a favor and overcome your hate of wires and get some proper hardware. ;)

I'll never use any wireless products, bluetooth or not, again. But hey, to each his own.

Yeah, remember that bluetooth peripherals do not work for gaming! The protocol is too slow, leading to lag. Fine for office stuff though.

I myself am very happy with my Logitech DiNovo wireless (radio) and Cordless MX3100 desktop (also radio).

I have a M$ wireless mouse and keyboard, works via USB. QUESTION: My laptop has builtin wireless, can I use the laptops wireless instead of the USB connection. Is there a way I can connect my M$ wireless mouse using the wireless on my laptop without connect via USB?

nope. sorry dude, but they work on different protocols & frequencies. :(

Don't Bluetooth mice eat batteries more than regular wireless ones? I remember reading that some time ago when I was looking for a wireless rodent.

Yup...I believe they do.

My biggest problem with a laptop wireless mouse (radio or bluetooth) is that the batteries are always going flat (in my case it was within a week or two). I bought the V500 because it claims a years life. It's worked for about 2-3 months so far on the first set of batteries so I'm quite chuffed. It's radio, but you can store the USB thinge inside the mouse. It's great!
