Im not a fitness person, not at all. I did however thoroughly enjoy myself when ascending Lions head in cape town.
Took 3 hours haha :D

Beaulah.

I've been looking for a hiking trail for my dog and I, here in Wellington, but it's too hot to take a walk.

Not sure about dog friendly hiking trails, but I definitely recommend doing it on a nice cloudy day

Haha yup. Had a nice breakfast and then started at about 11. The sun was quite the motivation to haul up and down but we had enough sunblock to weaken superman and enough water to...well barely make it down.We just reached the end when we drank the last drops :D

Haha ya not advisable during the hottest part of the day, normally early morning or after work sunset is a bit more pleasant :p Did you take the chains route at least?

I was in Golden Gate Highlands National Park the weekend of 16 Dec. About 2000m above sea level.

Those are some really good pics. One day when im beeg :p

So much nicer than a "hike" with some town spoiling the view.

Not sure why you put hike in quotes  ...but okay then.

Went up Lions head the first time about 3 weeks ago. Very nice hike and there was hundreds of other hikers as well. We went between 9-12. Was hot as hell.

Planning to do it soon again but will go much earlier to beat some of the heat.
