Hmm.....Ibra was awesome in serie A but never did anything to speak of in CL,he is doing well at the moment at barca but I'll wait til the end of the season to make my final judgement.Eto'o has been the better player overall during the last few years but I'm not sure how well he'll do in italy.The lack of decent defending in spain could have made him seem alot better than he is.Italy is not as fast paced and attack minded so once again I'll have to wait til the end of the season.

In italy defending is the game so for Ibra to score in Italy it was a difficult feat, besides you judging Ibra vs Eto in the first 6 matches... the season is still far from the end and you already saying Ibra is better... What was the averge goals Ibra scored in Italy? What is the average goals Eto scored in Spain? work it out like that. Then compare head to head

no you match eto's stats whilst at Barca and you match Eto's stats at Inter then you say ok they the same, they not the same...
At Inter if Eto isn't getting delivery it would have been the same for ibra, whilst at Barca Eto got the delivery which Ibra is getting now. so it shouldn't be a relative difference.
well, imo ibra does better with the delivery at barca than eto`o used to. and yes it's early in the season, but having watched many many barca matches with eto'o and 6 or whatever it is with ibra, im willing to go out on a limb

The Ibra haters are still out there. What must this oke do to convince people that he is doing better than Eto?
He is practically scoring the majority of Barca's goals, he is scoring in the CL - he is the leading goal scorer in Spain, yet people still say Eto is better.
Sure, its still early days - but as jammio said, if you have been following Barca for a long time, you cant help but get excited when you see how Ibra plays. He does things with the ball Eto would never dream of even attempting.

yeah he is doing 10x better than Eto'o but in the overall picture Eto'o has proven himself way more.If Ibra can lead Barca to the title this season and destroy some big names on the way its all good...

Before then, no one was disputing anything, just saying it was too soon to judge Ibra and Eto'o against each other. Which for some reason made you think people were hating on Ibra.

Eto' scored in another CL final against Arsenal
lets just wait till the El Classico or some serious CL games come up.Lets see if Ibra can handle it.yes he has had an amazing start but only time will tell.

Correct, only time will tell. No harm in commenting on it as the season progresses.
Anyways, we will see what happens as the season goes on - what i can tell so far is that Ibra is the better player. More allround and offers more to the team that what Eto did.
