I'm confused, perhaps someone would care to explain.
Currently I have a 1GB iBurst Wireless subscription through MWEB (all I can afford as a student
).
I chose iBurst for two main reasons, a) Telkom gave my area the middle finger after out cables got stolen for the 10th time in a year, so no ADSL.
b) The 64K throttled option.
At the moment, my 1 gig keeps me going for the 1st 7 days of the month, after that, I'm on 64k. It works, I like it the way it is.
The way I understand it is, these new packages only affects new subscribers and those who choose to upgrade. And I, can remain on my current month-to-month package and my 64k throttled option will not be affected, am I correct? :erm:
I've been looking at the new packages and as far as I'm concerned it's the biggest bull**** baffles brains scheme I have ever seen in my life. What the hell is the subscription fee for? I've never had to pay a subscription fee before, it just looks like a way to create the illusion of cheaper data to me.
And if I choose to upgrade, I would have to pay for the 5 gig package, to be awarded the "privilege" of paying extra for the 64K option.
Kinda makes you sick don't it?
I would like someone from iBurst itself to have the balls to come out and explain to us in detail exactly how they have become more competitive and how we would be saving on these new packages.
