iBurst and DataPro Partner

Why do we care? Unless @tlantic and Datapro get to offer packages in competition to IBurst this makes no difference. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Don't really care myself, just wondering. A very successfull man told me once: "If you have a business that works, then there is one ship you do not get on, a partnership." Like you said who cares really...

Considering that datapro is historically as expensive as TelkomSA and even more restrictive in only offering uncapped or a 3GB solutions and that they arent even able to list their prices on their site, http://broadband.datapro.co.za/usage-based-solutions.html (maybe they are ashamed of it) and they advertise on national radio how they are the future of Telkom competition, they are even worse than MWeb!

Seems everyone wants a piece of iBurst lately :D

Personally I think it is good news that iBurst is becoming so strong in the industry, just wish Sentech would get into gear so we can have more choice

Hi Supersunbird

our ADSL products are very flexible and competitive, we offer a usage based sevice where 3GB is the minimum, you can set the limit at whatever you like an pay only for what is used.

we have a quoting wizard on our site that will give you a full breakdown of our pricing.

Well, you can click on the link in my signature and read my post about what the Datapro take over did to @lantic, the answering of the support line went all to hell from the previous high standards...

The fact remains that Datapro/@lantic is expensive and that must the competitiveness that Datapro are advertising on radio about where they say they aim to be Telkom competition... ;)

And I have steered quite a few client away from @lantic (at least 6 that spend R500 a month on ISP costs) ADSL over to SAOL and OpenWeb over the last year :D

EDIT: And if your talking about the product wizard, http://broadband.datapro.co.za/product-wizard.html, please take a look at it yourself and tell me how I can see what 10GB would cost me?

fair enough, our support is not perfect, but I can assure you that it has dramatically improved over the last 6 months and we are continuing to invest heavily in that side of the business.
We have always expressed to our customers that anyone at DataPro/@tlantic can also be contacted directly right up to Douglas.
