Ok, so I've just formatted the PC in favour of Linux Fedora Core 4. Is anyone else using this setup? I have managed to get the UTD to work with the Ethernet connection (a lot more painless than I expected), but I can't seem to get it working with the USB. Anything special I need to do?

I am a complete Linux newbie, first time I've installed and used it.

Any specific reason to use USB? It works superbly with ethernet. Used to use that before I connected it to IPCop.

No specific reason, just messing around. Windows just irritated me for the last time today, so playing around with this for a while before I have to go back to it.

There are sources for a Linux USB driver for iBurst around somewhere, initially I wanted to try it out, but never got round to really bothering with it because I prefer ethernet, and I setup an IPCop box for my connection. You would need the USB interface if you need to upgrade the firmware, but then you'd probably need Windoze as well...

BTW, you can browse around www.unchained.co.za, perhaps there's something interesting...
