I think this is pushing it now. I have a 1Gig cap on my iburst account which is enough for me to just send and receive emails and get onto facebook now and then and chat.

This month well as of the 2nd of May I apparently used up 784.48 MB of data while my pc was off.

The einstones at iburst tell me it was used by me. how in the world can facebook or text emails amount to 784.48 MB in one day. As for all the other iburst know it all's here who share their experiences here of how it works well... get a life. The reason you are not complaining is simply because you have had no issues thus far.

They are simply taking us for granted because we are complaining as individuals. We need to take a stand together and put them in their rightful incompetent places.

Please reply to this post if you wish to join me in taking this up to them as a group.

you should run netlimiter pro on your PC. would show all your bandwidth / network activity... you never know what little trojan you got hosting shyte on your pc without you knowing...

Suddenly "lost" 1.5 Gigs on my 10 Gig account - no PC connected at the time...

Why are we still paying the same for local as international bandwidth?

"It is very difficult to find ISPs with KPI stats published on their websites, and most ADSL service providers cap their users after they reach their monthly usage limit. This is strictly against the law, but since these ISPs are billed for all bandwidth consumed by their subscribers it is not surprising that they don’t adhere to all the ADSL regulations."

Welcome to the club SG - I had the same Sh*T with them when I had iBurst.

EXACT same thing, one day all of a sardeen I was short on 500 odd megs of bandwidth...Needless to say they did f all about it.

The BEST thing I ever did was get rid of iBurst. Be wary of them, they are snakes.

I have IPCop with NetTraffic running... I monitor my OWN useage and compare.

But since changing to MWEB as my iBurst reseller, the stats have been quite truthful.
