Iburst behaving?

I dont know about the rest of you, but for the last couple of weeks, my iburst has been on best behaviour, and performing better (compared to the past), how are you lot doing?

Today is a bad day as far as things go for me, only got line speeds of around 500kbs :/

Hows all of yours?

depends where I go... Apple.com trailers gives me 1Mb throughput as well as most local sites... some sites only give me abut 400kbs

it seems iBurst's network status page does work and that Bryanston and Randburg Towers are down... me wanders where the hell I am connected??

you must be able to use another tower then, they described the problem as "Backhaul failure affecting Bryanston and Randburg base stations."

had that problem last week on primrose tower after the service was back again connection kicked a$$

yeah it affected 5 stations last week

yeah funny if I point my modem one way it picks up a completely different station... the one on the right (midrand/randburg not sure is WAY quicker) then I think Bryanston or whatever it is

Has anybody come across software that will actually tell you which tower you are connecting to. In stead of everybody speculating (especially in areas with many towers) you could know exactly. This will help a lot with solving issues.

It does seem to be behaving, yes. It's not what it used to be in the beginning, but it's not too bad.
