Hey guys,

I think iBurst is blocking or has blacklisted MSN / Windows live Hotmail.

I did a couple of tests from my acount as well as some clients and i get this error:

Delivery Status Notification (Failure)
Mail Delivery System [[email protected]]
--------------
The following message to <********@hotmail.com> was undeliverable.
The reason for the problem:
5.1.0 - Unknown address error 550-'Your e-mail was rejected for policy reasons on this gateway. Reasons for rejection may be related to content such as obscene language, graphics, or spam-like characteristics (or) other reputation problems. For sender troubleshooting information, please go to http://postmaster.msn.com. Please note: if you are an end-user please contact your E-mail/Internet Service Provider for assistance.'

Anybody know whats going on?

It looks like that message was sent from Hotmail which means they've blacklisted iBurst, lol.

Please note: if you are an end-user please contact your E-mail/Internet Service Provider for assistance.'

In Iburst's case it should read: "If you are an end-user on the iBurst network, don't even bother with your Service Provider, just try and resolve it yourself"

I've given up trying to send emails to Hotmail contacts. After a few hours, I get that same error. Looks like we can't send or receive from hotmail addresses. :(

Also getting the same message when sending to a Hotmail address.

IBurst blacklisted by HotMail.

Ho ho ho

If it wasn't tragic it would be funny.

Ok, its getting a bit irritating now...

I need to mail contacts who (god knows why?) use hotmail!

Iburst doesnt seem to care that MSN thinks they suck balls...?

Just another good reason for leaving iburst as they insist on shooting themselves in the foot with restriction after restriction, it really looks like they don't want people to stay with them.

I think it's more a matter of 'they don't want people to use other email addresses except their crappy 10mb inbox'.

In other words "they" want to dictate what users can do with their bandwidth...................as I said just another good reason for giving up on the otherwise good iburst system.

At least with ADSL I now have more choices in ISP as well as various packages, and top up bandwidth at a fraction of the price offered by iburst.
I thought that I'd miss the 64kbps after cap but I've since changed my mind.

Not to mention 4 times the speed and going by the ADSL forum less downtime and other problems that iburst suffer from.
