Multisource has completed its acquisition of WBS – the parent company of iBurst and Broadlink.

You are in dead spot. I am pretty sure there were licensing requirements set by ICASA which iBurst failed to meet. The entire story with recent acquisition was just a fool play to further delay development of the network. This time guys at ICASA did a job properly. They must do it... USE it or LOOSE it.

Interesting. Will be interesting to see how this unfolds. They are in a good position spectrum wise. Can dedicate all of it to LTE. 400 is a very small number of towers though. That is going to have expand and quickly if they want to capture the market. I wonder how they will configure their towers for range.

Well that can be read two ways. Either they're going to offer a full broadband service that won't appeal to regular cellphone users or something priced above current services and focus on service instead.

Thanks for the link. It is clear that there will be no national coverage in near future (or ever).
What of a waste of bandwith! They are still planning to play fools with ICASA.
