While browsing around i stumbled onto this:

http://www.digitalcityonline.com.au/store/product.asp?idProduct=1767
SPEED (KBPS)------INCLUDED DATA------MONTHLY ACCESS
512/128-------------300 MB----------------$49.95
1061/346------------500 MB----------------$64.95
1061/346------------1,000 MB--------------$99.95
1061/346------------10,000 MB-------------$199.95

Usage calculated as bi-directional. Unused download allowance cannot be rolled over into subsequent months. Excess usage $0.15 per MB.

Very interesting prices, now quite clearly they do not see the iBurst system as one for huge data usage compared to what i've heard people use in SA.

Now i don't know if this is the general Austrialian price or whether it's cheap/expensive.

PS: 1 Austrialian $ = R4.7

$99,95 for 1 gig... damn that's expensive. DSL over there is defnitely cheaper

I think u meant AUS not USA.
They are almost the same as here. the costs that is.

Yea, fixed it, only saw $ signs and assumed it's USA. Regardless the point is i don't see anything about 'throttling' or 'capping'. You just start paying R0.70 p/MB out of package. And that = R700 for 1GB, quite clearly you wouldn't be using iBurst in Australia to do those 10GB monthly downloads?
