What type of equipment does iBurst use?

Let me help - no a normal dialup connection won't work. iBurst offers Wireless (simply known as iBurst), ADSL and 3g/HSDPA. I assume you are talking about the iBurst Wireless service (i.e. not HSDPA).

You will need to get an iBurst modem - one of these. You need to get one of the first 3 items on that page.

Would you be interested in buying a second-hand iBurst desktop modem with an external antenna and a Netgear Wireless router, an all-in-one setup? I've since moved onto ADSL, and have cancelled my 2 previous iBurst accounts...

I think you misunderstood my post.
I was wondering what type of equipment iBurst uses for their Wimax service.

Spoke a guy at Advanced Support, a normal PPPOE connection will work.

So basically you just plug a network cable from their CPE to your PC/server and create a PPPOE connection with the supplied username...
