iBurst Dashboard

Since it will only work if you connect through the USB port I have not tried it as I'm connected through ethernet port via a router.

That's my issue also,

you would have thought they could have made the read me PDF file smaller then 111KB. I mean we don't need orange bubbles to see how the freaking thing works... pity it aint working on ethernet connections would have been cool to check it out.

I downloaded the program as I will test it when I take my modem to my friends house, but that might only be in a few weeks.

Yeah halicon I agree......who needs the orange bubbles.:(

I have downloaded and installed it but un-install it straight away. To big. It seems that the person who wrote is is short-sighted. Try again iBurst. make is smaller!!!!!!!!!

its obviously terribly made, but could be usefull for checking bandwidth usage and signal strength.. If it was smaller it would be great. ANd if they could fix this stuff for Ethernet.

Got to love the disclaimer stating that it is for information purposes and they will not be held to the accuracy of the software. Erm, then what is the point?

It is far too big and uses a fair amount of system resources. It would have been better if they had designed it to be simple and effective as opposed to flashy and in the grand scheme of things, useless.

Why only for connection via USB?

They make it big so that you waste more bandwidth downloading it.

Why would they do that? Puts more strain on their system, they pay for your bandwidth remember. And peopel who dowload this will be the type who dont often go over their cap.

Plus it makes their hosting costs more. I think they simply cant program it better for lack of skills.

Lol i was joking. One of there staff members proberbly made it in his/her spare time for a bit of extra cash.

Oh.. haha. okay my fault. Im shure someone said something like this before and where very serious.

The other stuff they bundled it with ( on the site) seems even more of a waste of time. I mean seriously, a screensaver?? I dont hate Iburst, but im no fanboy either, noone wants to watch some oragne bubbles on their screen because they have Iburst. And wallpapers too.. they should stop wating their time.

If there were, I am sure that someone would have posted some. Clearly there are not that many.

Hopefully that will give you guys an indication that we are more concerned about other problems that you guys could put your resources and time into as has already been pointed out above.

Well it is usefull for some people. It is easier than going to Ibursts site for your bandwidth usage. And the connection stats must be easier to see than using that horrible little I/B icon you get when you connect via USB.

I think its mostly just not of much use to us on the forum who dont use USB that much anyway.

Alot of your clients might find use in it.
