Hi,

I am trying to get my iBurst going on my new 64-bit machine, but I can't get it right. Please can someone explain the following:

- what order to I install .... Driver first or dashboard first?
- do I have to have the modem disconnected?
- do I have to install the programs to Program files or Program Files (x86) ?
- when I install the dashboard (I am using V2) do I leave all the user names and passwords blank and do not tick the "install drivers checkbox" ?

Thanks
Victor

I just installed the driver from the website, then plugged the modem in.
That dashboard is a piece of crap. Dont use it, it runs into hundreds of MB's of RAM, and for what?

To create the Connection, just use the Control Panel>Network & Sharing Center>"Setup a new connection or network" [under the "change your network settings" pane]

That's all you need to do.

Please can you expand on how to set it up after that "setup a new connection or network" .... I have never done it that way

Its quite simple:
Click the "setup a new connection or network" [under the "change your network settings" pane]
In the window that pops up, select 1st option, "Connect to the internet".

If you have an active internet connection it will give some options, just select the one which allows you to create a new connection.
Now it asks you, "how do you want to connect?" Choose Broadband (PPPOE) - this should show up if you've already installed the drivers and connected the modem.

Then type in your login details, Username, and PW, and hit connect!

Thanks for helping out, X-Gamer. Please PM me your UTID and I'll allocate a bansela.

BTW: I am embarrassed to admit that, yes, the dashboard is a load of toast....

Like a baws :D It's just a bit sluggish when it comes to buffing videos on youtube. Other than that the silver surfer rocks :)

Figured as much. Some videos buffer lightning fast while others take up to 3 times the length of the actual video.
