iBurst - iGame Beta Testing

Amazing ! all you guys posting here are on Iburst ?

If not then why are you here ? ADSL modem struck by lightening ? or the telkom lines been stolen again ? :D
 
I'm on iburst and I say instead of bothering with all this they could just be offering an unshaped connection instead and problem solved.
 
I play PES 2008 on iburst and get pings between 300ms and 5000ms :mad:
 
hmm...mine plays TF2 at a latency of 70-80 quite nicely, no lag at all until i get capped and then im pretty much screwed :p
 
There's been an article about it on the front page, so why can't the full details come out.

Especially the rest of this part:

there are still some ex-ibursters who pop in now and again to see how things are going
 
Well I was house sitting in December @ a place that had iBurst. Played TF2 on the SAIX servers the whole time with 60-90 ping the whole time. Not amazing, but quite playable.
 
What is the best wireless broadband Package that you can imagine for Midrand?

My G3 is crawling along too slow and I might move soon so I don't want to go through the trouble of having a line that I have to cancel or move later.

Since nobody else has replied to your question here is my opinion:

iBurst probably is the best as long as you get them to do tests and you get a good signal in your area without an antenna .

Just make sure you do not sign any contracts, stay on month 2 month.

Oops, almost forgot if you do get iburst keep an eye on your bank account.:rolleyes:

By G3 do you mean the iBurst package or 3G?

If you already have iBurst and that isn't working out for you, you can only try Vodacom/MTN's (Vodacom is cheapest for 3GB) HSDPA. This also needs testing though.

yeah well , if they did'nt keep on illegally taking making from my account every few months then as an ex user I wold have no reason to come here.

You are never an ex-user with Iburst. They will allways take money from you for the hell of it
