Iburst On Console

Connected to Iburst by default. Once I'm satisfied that all (online) updates have been downloaded, I'll disconnect and reconnect via ADSL. No reason why I should waste unshaped bandwidth on downloads :) Iburst also good for those huge demos , but downloads (mine at least) are as slow as hell, and needs to be restarted often.

You wont be able to hook up the usb modem but if you have the router you shouldn't have any problems.
 
My ps3 handles on Iburst without a hitch, some lag occasionally on Motorstorm but otherwise its perfect. We normally run 3 ps3's wired on one Iburst connection with hardly any lag and thats on top of Northcliff hill, which supposedly is a terrible tower. I myself am in Fourways with aerial, downloads on the psn store are supa speedy, but @ the end of the day i would still stick with adsl but if your stuck with Iburst you shouldnt have a prob, considering you have a wireless router if ya want wifi.
 
IBurst and PS3

Is there a step by step guide to set up iburst on the PS3?
 
Thanks MvanHeerden. It was so easy to set up. Just plugged in my desktop modem, entered the user and passw and I was connected.
