I moved today from Sunninghill to Kyalami and connection is even better here!!!!

Checked out the new site and everything is 100% NICE iburst damn farking nice... except your forums on the website... those are the freakiest forums i have ever seen...

Yup! I am happy!

Guru - where about you going to move, Estates? Kyalami's powa, its central to 3 towers :cool:

I can see Kyalami Castle from my Garden if I like stand on a box :D I am inbetween Kyalami and Sunninghill in a little dip which did concern me before moving and had plans to build some uber antenna... but when I started testing my modem I was happily surprised that it works ANYWHERE in my house and mainatains 100% signal. Maybe I am in some kinda sweet spot...
 
haha, i also thought the site was pretty cool.,... till it stopped working 10:33 still down (help desk section)
 
I seem to be in a sweetspot here in Ferndale, Randburg too . .and i'm in a dip too . .always have 100% signal and the connecion doesnt drop.

Every telkom line speed (that webpage) i have done report 1000kb/sec (+- 1mb/sec) . . .every local download runs @ 128KB/sec . . . every international download runs at +- 60KB/sec.

Suirfing sites are basically instantaneous :D

I have NOTHING to complain about except throttling of local traffic after Cap is reached. (Can't say i've ever used or cared for P2P either.

In a nutchell, I am happy with Iburst
 
except the cap right? cuz if you're happy with that cap i'm coming over there right now.
 
I want to post a video clip for non-believers of 1mbit - any site suggestions please where I can put this for dl??

aborg, naughty naughty - you're contributing to our bandwidth depletion :D - now that I have a bit of speed I'm getting paranoid about everything I click & ek kyk mos skeef @ things that beckon "download me"...

I have decided to be at the other end of the spectrum - instead of following the trend of maxing out my cap in a few days, I'm actually going to try getting through the month to see how a beancounter would manage with 3GBz.
 
i need to download a clip to know what 1mbit is like? so leeching 24/7 for 4 months wouldn't have done the trick?
 
yeah I read through a few threads here and saw ppl complaining...I guess some are just luckier than others. :-)
