Hmmm, excluding Telkom charges? Iburst doesn't have any Telkom charges.

With Telkom you pay R112pm to rent the line, then you pay R152pm for ADSL access at a pathetic 384kbps.

So you are out of pocket by R264pm and how much data do you get with that? Zero. That's right, zero. R264pm for 0MB.

We know better, but it makes iBurst look like an absolute bargain. Especially to the average Jo.

who ever buys the rental separately nowadays has a bolt or two missing.. R169 from cybersmart(cheapest entry level/1GB) means for R19 more u get 1GB.. and 3GB is about R100 more..

I can survive one month on a Gig. That includes browsing, postwhoring, IRC'ing, downloading the odd 20Mb file or two, email, and Google Mail.

How one can do 40Mb in a month I don't know - it's next to useless...

"Obelix and Co" springs to mind...



--edit : I've heard different, that there's people complaining about getting hit for high bandwidth charges for using more than 40Mb... but that's hearsay, if only those people would post their experience(s) on MyADSL....

Agreed. Get a bad month of windows updates and you really dont have a clue where your bandwidth has gone. To the average Joe out there please do not touch this even with a wooden pole.
