I just received a rather opportunistic request from WBS. I guess they want to domain myiburst.co.za, but they could really have called for this. They simply sent a COZA DNS Update ticket without contacting anyone… Did they just hope that someone will accept the domain transfer and the rest will just let it slip?? Definitely not good form from WBS/iBurst!

The domain "myiburst.co.za" is in the pending queue for a Update.
This was requested by "[email protected]". The original request was posted at Sun, 2 Mar 2008 22:49:48 +0200 (SAST) and queued in pending at Sun Mar 2 22:49:51 SAST 2008.

After reading this thread it would not surprise me if they don't reply to this thread denying ever sending that request in the first place.

I dunno if the big ISP's think that the small time DNS admins are clueless or something

Had a random update ticket popup for one of the domains I host - from MWeb. Out the blue with no notification or warning...
