Another nite another nightmare.....

While one does understand that the problem seems to be related to their upstream provider UUNET it is completely unacceptable that the problem is carrying on for a 2nd day without so much as a peep from iBust....

Time for one to look at www.ibustedagain.co.za ... sad ... so sad

This brings back such sad memories of the worst days on MyWireless.

Come on GUYS ... make things public! Announce what the problem is.... and most importantly ... FIX IT..

I'm noticing tonight that my connection is not as smooth as it normally would be

5 seconds on the Verizon web site offers the answers ... Even a copy and paste would help iBurst customers...

Does iBurst only use Verizon as their upstream provider?
If I rember clearly someone [lazy to search] said they also utilise satelite

I guess WBS aka iBurst still have a long way to go in terms of Customer Service.

Hi Regardtv and others

I have asked iBurst for some feedback on these problems...will let you know as soon as I hear anything from them.

Regards,

RPM

I had problems with some sites not working for about 10-20mins earlier today. But the conection was apparentl completley down earlier. Wa sfixed by teh time I came home.

Google.com and one or two other site kept working fine all the time, even when other sent down and pings are still normal for me.. maby Its over already.

But the lack of communication from Iburst is discontenting.

I don't even bother checking iBurst's pages. I simply go to Verizon's site whenever iBurst acts up. No need to get all worked up because they fail in service delivery. Far easier and less stressful to go to Verizon's site for some real answers :)

Please explain the Verizon / iBurst connection.

Hi Guys

To echo regardtv, this is a great site and I often read the comments on all the threads. All the members on this forum who post comments give valuable information about Iburst and its service, especially to me, coz I need to deliver the right service to you (and to all our other customers) and this is where your comments help point me in the right direction.

This is my first comment, so please be gentle with me....

ook?

Me considers giving Ed the Librarian treatment... :D

nahhhh... too much trouble... :D and besides, he's doing his best to help us.

Welcome!

Okay, so how about giving us some answers regarding the questions in this thread:

http://www.mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=44800&page=3

It seems to have been avoided many times by SG and the other tech guys from wbs who we all know read these threads.

Is that gentle enough for you as a start...

Welcome to Ed Hall, nice to see Iburst guys directly involved on the forums. It really helps when oyu are complaining and you can actually get instant official replies or answers.

And good going RegardTV, you made it onto a official Iburst comment. Pretty inpressive, im gonna start complaining more. :p

Well Ill be checking out their incident report page more regularly now. the least they can do is copy paste the info from the Verizon site and it wouldnt be neccesary to visit them any more., Get all the info in one place.
