ibust kicksass co za down?

I'll go on just now, a bit busy now and need to set it all up again.

I don't see the speed being anything better than say 8KBps though.. I've sent files to my friend that lives 10 minutes from me and he's on Iburst, no high speeds at all.

But anyway I'll connect a bit later incase it's different now ;)
 
What exactly is the address again? I try and connect and it says Connected but then even minutes later nothing else has happened... :/
 
Well as suspected speeds are very very slow, for me at leat. I'm downloading something now at 778B/s, that's right. Bytes per second! :(

And I keep getting disconnected from the server as well.
 
I tried logging on to the server and it was rejecting me :(
 
Remember that you must share a min of 20 gigs and you must have min 3 and a max of 6 upload slots open.....maybe thats why you can't connect.
 
I did try staying on but the the server kept closing my connection apparantely.. :/

Not sure what mine is, set it up ages ago. But I have actually moved my UTD to another PC since then, and not changed the MTU again.

Sometimes it says connected. Other times the remote computer actively refuses to connect. Those type of things.
 
Yep I have the same problems and it sucks for me anyway.. in Cape Town, so speeds are much worse than a nice http download at 8-11kb.

With just two or three people on it will be hard to find anythign you really want anyway, but its a great idea. We need more people to go on.. especially from Cape Town. Ill try getting some friends of mine to go on and see if it works.
 
I've been getting a constant 9 to 13kb/s since last night. People! Stop talking and get on here, it's that simple.

Lol, Trixanno share some more stuff and I'll come back ;)

Don't like having so much shared and then everything saturating my connection with uploads.
 
I share about 160GB.. ill get back there when im capped!! Yes im not even capped yet.. 27th! Bad Iburster..

Ive been quiet cause ive been out and about.. holidays for us school goers.
First time in a while that Im actually on the computer. Probably why my cap isnt blown yet too.

I can fully appreciate that you want to restrict leechers... but my computer system is in a little bit of a mess right now - my 40gigs is on a HD in my drawer and i don't have time to hook it up right now. Maybe if you want to encourage some more peeps to join the hub then reduce that restriction a bit and then i'd be there in a flash - i keep getting booted at the moment :(
 
I think that the restriction is fine. On any modern system a person should be ble to share more than 20GB :/

Just relating to the speed. I reconnected sometime during the day yesterday, and last tried I connected to this DC++ server and I was getting about 20KBps down, and about the same up. Obviously they change all the time. But don't go lower than 10KBps each which isn't bad.

Then this morning I was disconneted, Iburst reconnected and I kept getting time outs while trying to connect to people in DC++. Tried reconnecting and getting a new IP, and it's as fast as last night.

Seems it does go fast between IBurst users but only for a certain range of IP addresses.. :/

My one machine only has an 18gig HD and the other a 4gig.... where am i going to fit 20gigs of @#$% media on to that :(
 
Dude ur pc sux, I am sorry bro but it does. Your iburst subscription for a month costs more than a hard drive, so download ur quota for the next few months till u get the low space on volume c jazz, then cancel I burst for a month to buy a hdd :)

Lol, ambo its 2006, I mean my familys PC even has a 80GB hdd. Not that its even 10% full. But ya ;)

So guys who can't share 20GB join the ibust2 server, if thats still active. Used to have a minimum share of 1GB.
