Hi there,
I have the speed problem over half month. it still not yet sort out. Anybody can explain for me what's happenning?

Hi there,
I found the international speed slower than 56k modem.

doo whats your numbers like, pings, signal, frame error rate and which base station are you connected to?

sorry for a really stupid question now but are you sure you're not capped?

Hi Slimothy,
Good Afternoon,
Thank you reply my message!
I stay Midrand area. I can see 5 green light on.
Before 2005/May/8, I use Iburst perfectly. after that day. I use it at same place the trouble coming.
and I try external antenna. but the problem still didn't any change. and My friend stay Randburg, Bedfordview have same problem.

Can you tell me how I can do now?

ok i want you to look in your system tray and double click the icon with the IB on it, if its not there go to start -> all programs -> iBurst Termal -> iBurst terminal UTL

then you can get an exact percentage for your signal and frame error rate and come back here and post whatever you find, then go open the command prompt (start -> all programs -> accesories -> command promt) and type ping www.iburst.co.za and tell me the average time for a ping, that will let me and others here better understand your situation.

Also log into the bandwith monitor at http://helpdesk.wbs.co.za and tell us if you still have bandwith remaining on your account, I know it sounds stupid but do it and hopefully we can help

not to be funny or anything but have u checked your spyware ? have u checked if u have any on your machine? maybe a dumb reason but it worked for me as all of a sudden one day i was dead in the water and then i cleaned up and it was much better

Your line speed is approximately 171.5 Kbps or 21 kBytes/sec
( Where kb = kilobits and kB = kiloBytes )

Consider this post safe from the horrible, unimaginable problems that the old, 3rd person title could have imposed on Oxford Dictionary Compilers/Lexicographers that perchance could have visited this thread.

Hi Slimothy,
The frame Error Rate from 0.00% to 10.26% up and down.
