Who uses iCal for their day-to-day calendar for things to do, deadlines, etc. ?

I need something to keep me organised for university and I thought this could work as I can sync it to my iPhone as well to check it on the go. Would this be a good option or should I just stick with a pen and paper diary?

I use Google Calander, email what I need to do to a seperate gmail account and when I'm home I just add it to the calander for that email address. Its easy enough.

I use iCal with Google calendar, which syncs to iPhone. It's very easy to set up and works 100%

use ical, with google calendar, it syncs with my ipad, works like a bomb...

I use ical + google calendar and a blackberry. Ical together with google calendar works really well together. No need for anything else.

And I really don't use anything other that iCal myself... That said, I'm still not really used to the new look of iCal and Address book in Lion. Can't decide if I like it or not just yet.

I love how you can use natural english to add an event in the new iCal for Lion.

I got rid of my diary after I got my iPad. Only use the digital things now. Much better as I can show my engineering boss a illustration of all the appointments I have per day (at a University)
And lots of other great things on the iPad that makes my day just that little better... And that the diary could not do...
I am doing a bit of research on applications for students, stuff to keep your homework up to date and assignments ect ect. But I might just have to stop as I am not getting any money out of the research I am doing at the moment.
