Phone Calls used to be flat rated 5 cents and talk as long as you like, I think it started coming to an end around about 1987 (before Dial-up)

There again Tom Barry knew that, and that was one of the first things he started to change when he became CEO of Telkom... odd when you think that he was from (and as returned to) the USA... were they have flat rate (un-metered) local calls

they have 90 days to make a decision although indications were it would be in the next 2 weeks

i.e. the usual state of affairs in telecoms - wait and see, the decision is imminent
