..ICASA have issued draft regulations for the CAP with comment due by 9 July

links are available from the ICASA home page (although i cannot get them to work right now)

this is something myadsl consumers should definitely get involved in

9 July THIS year? Seems imminently too speedy for their eminences at ICASA. Or is that eminently too speedy for their imminences? :p
 
...standard 30 days which will probably be extended...we get the time limits, they don't

so hurry up and wait
 
In any event, would any of "our" side be interested in being nominated - yourself dominic, or rpm, MaD, Debbie2? Do we even get to nominate ( I can't understand all thae govt gazette legalese )?

@ ic - let's just say there is no shortage of DOC inexpertise plying its trade at ICASA (mebbe the infiltrated communications authority etc etc)

Unfortunately it is in the typical guavamint format of printed and then scanned in as a image so one cannot copy & paste-quote the text - I wish they would stop doing that - it wastes bandwidth as well considering that images increase the .pdf document size compared to the original text...:rolleyes:

LOL so if I print it and scan it with my scanner again I can copy and paste the text? :o Poor guabimint.

I have this theory that they sucker you into sending them all that lovely high grade paper, which they in turn sell for a tidy profit to recyclers or use as TP. In which case they snaffle the TP budget for themselves as well
