Will Big Boy Roy negate on the promise he made us? Or will it be ICASA that drops the ball before the November deadline?

Just what is this elusive LLU animal that's always just out of grasp? Grazing in its natural habitat .. unhindered, almost unconcerned at all the fuss it is causing.

Will Roy & his team have the balls to tame it .. or will the allure of more 5-star luxury hotel rooms be too much?

Will ICASA wake up long enough to even catch a glimpse of this rare beast? Or will they choose to protect Telkom for just a while longer?

These are the questions we ask ourselves while watching these underperforming cadres chase after this magnificent creature.
Spotted a few years ago for the first time, it is seen as the solution to overprized monopolies.
Others of its kind have been caught and are breeding successfully in captivity all over the world.
They say the local one is just a legend, a story told to give people hope.
They say no trap can hold it, that it vanishes into thin air the moment a politician talks about it.
Can it be caught? Can we prove them wrong?

Tune in next week to follow the drama. Maybe then we'll get lucky ...

It just show ICASA dont know what the hell they are doing. If they did they would not have to delay this & that. When November comes along there will be delays again because they dont know what they are doing

There is no way in hell any organisation can be this incompotent. The only thing that can explain it is that most if not all of the big guns in ICASA is been paid off by Telkom. Look at the bull**** reasoning telkom gives for not unbundling and yet everytime ICASA accepts it. I think theres wide scale corruption happening here.

If you are so convinced about it then why not go to your local SAPS offices and lay a charge?

If the two weeks is used to avoid the type of vagaries that were written into the ADSL regulations, then it will be two weeks well spent.

If the two weeks is spent watering down the document so as not to rock or sink any well-connected boats, then we will all lose out again.

Anyone else think it is delayed until after Telkom release their annual results on 13 June so as not to impact on their share price?

/or do I need a tinfoil hat?

Seems someone saw how much they making off telkom customers & said, "hey lets continue this fraudulent activity, its nothing new everyone does it in government".
With the soon to be informations act being forced onto us by the thieving ANC no one will know wtf they doing.

The title of this article, and all others regarding icasa should be qualified with a number. So "ICASA LLU Delay #46" would be more correct

wow, icasa is so bad at lying that i can actually make money out of them.....next time im gonna bet cash that they wont meet their own deadlines.

Only problem is finding a punter, there cant be someone that daft to believe Icasa will keep their promises ? can there ?
