Icasa exodus

This is a bad blow for consumers, all the more to call for the axeing of Poison Ivy...

If it is true that the SNO put pressure on gov to slow down deregulation then we are definately headed for duapoloy...

Damn!

:(

this is extremely concerning - given that a strong ICASA seems to be the only real avenue for change

but it seems that holding a position at ICASA (or the DoC) for a while is an excellent stepping stone to a cushy private sector job (and why not for the individuals concerned) where you get to employ your government contacts for the benefit of our new employer

i am sad that mr langa is going - he has shown some backbone and is certainly intelligent and capable - given the difficulties between the regulator and ministry i fear that his replacement may lack most of these qualities

Not all BAD

With the Like Andries joining a new VOIP outfit and some of the others remaining in the Telecom sector, they may know something we don't. If they truly believed there was no hope then why remain in this sector?

I think Poison Ivy made a huge mistake by not letting VANS self provide, and this will come back and bite her. TATA may not be all it appears.
