Due to the gravy slurping incompetence of ICASA and the venality of cell phone providers, mid-year 2010 is the new date for a cheaper service that was supposed to happen before Christmas this year (2009).
I can comprehend the petty and punitive actions against ‘whitey’ by ICASA (supported by the ignorant majority) but, it seems to me, they risk alienating the ANC electoral base (the ignorant majority) who are extremely poor and the major cell phone users. So, along with the ESKOM hikes, unemployment, inflation, crap service delivery, the financial crisis and poverty, the ignorant majority must now contend with ridiculous cell phone rates. Way to go.
