ICC World Twenty20 2012

It's what I have been saying for almost 2 years already...

Worst part is if they fail in this match, they're going to see it as a failed strategy and try something else. There's too much experimentation, and not enough thinking, going on.

Pisses me off to no end to see Faf suddenly batting like this and living up to his potential. Where was he when we needed him? And the selectors need to take the blame too for persisting with Levi over him.

Generally, it's only in world cups that the proteas disappoint but boy, do they do a good job of it???!!

Faf has almost 2/3 of the total runs himself! I hope this signals the end of the failed Levi experiment.

Oh and think of it this way - if we win today then we wouldn't have just broken the hearts of 40 million saffers in this tournament, but a billion Indians as well :D

Faf shows his class, why oh why would they drop him for Levi?
Somebody's head needs to roll!!!

Myself and a few others asked that same question.... Faf is a better player of Spin, looked a lot better on spin friendly wickets, and was on song in the IPL..... yet we dropped him for Levi who was bad in the IPL and struggles against spin....

wtf?

Comes back to the whole thing about class being permanent and form being temporary. Look at guys like JP now, he's proving himself to be a class player, despite fans calling for his head not too long ago. Faf needs to become a permanent fixture in all forms of the game, the guy has unnecessary pressure placed on him because he's not sure of his place in the side when failures like Levi are chosen over him. He should replace Rudolph in tests as well IMO.
