Hi,

I am having an issue with Exchange 2010 syncing after upgrading to ICS 4.0.3 on my SGS2.

Mail will appear on the phone pretty much immediately however when I read it on my PC it will not sync down to the phone as read for about an hour and sometimes not at all.

Today my calendar on my phone has absolutely no data in it, even though the sync setting is checked.

I have tried the usual remove account and re-add but no success.

I am actually so p*ssed I upgraded to ICS because the issues seem to outweigh the benefits.

If no-one can help I am going to have to see how I can flash this back to Gingerbread. I was loving Android but the lack of getting basic things right is making me regret my move from Apple.

Thanks.

Samsung's Exchange integration under ICS truly sucks. It was semi-broken under GB already, but they've managed to mangle it even more.

Under ICS it seems like the schedules are being ignored. I've setup regular peak syncs and offpeak manual syncs, but it will randomly sync during manual time anyway.

Then sometimes I'll send an e-mail from the phone, and it will get stuck in the outbox - it never goes anywhere. Further sent mails get delivered immediately, but that 1st one will just sit around until, randomly, it will also be delivered - sometimes days late.

(On Gingerbread, setting to "push" mail would also eat data at an alarming rate. Haven't tried that again under ICS though.)

I know of people making use of Touchdown without any of these problems though. I'm seriously considering just purchasing that and getting rid of the default integration. (Its not a R10 app though :()
