ICS for Galaxy Tab 10.1

Get the Italian rom. It works great. No reason to wait for SA version. Use Odin to do update. It's an official Samsung rom so no custom anything involved.

Yeah, I'm running Jelly Bean on my 10.1 3G, only thing that doesnt work is the front camera. Rest is amazing

any news on the za version? My dads got a tab and I really don't want him flashing things (techno noob) - honeycombs desktop is annoyingly slow

So no one has the answer to my Question?

While I am all for flashing stuff - been doing so on my Galaxy S for sometime - currently running Jelly Bean. For a phone that's not getting ICS from Samsung Jelly Bean is running great. Sad that I have my phone running Jelly Bean before I get an ICS update on my Tablet. Anyway I am actually keen to keep my tablet stock for a while longer before I start messing with it. Flashing addiction for one device is enough.

Thanks for input though.

I have been waiting for an update for a while now.ended up flashing the thing and it works fine. I suggest you do the same other wise you will wait a long time.

yes thinking about but as I already flash my phone about twice a week i figure I'll hold off for now.

I flashed mine with the Italian ROM but went back to honeycomb for now.
The battery life is worse on ICS and some apps I use is not supported on ICS yet.

Weird, same update but with increased battery performance for me.

My battery life is also perfectly fine with Italian rom. No way in the world I see Honeycomb again ... what a mess.

Thanks for the feed back. food for thought... about to flash latest cm10 nightly for my galaxy s. oh well....

I can highly recommend the flashing of the Italian ICS rom. It's the official Samsung Rom, so I don't see any conflict there.
Runs like a dream...
Then just root again and you're cruising.
No face-recognition unlock though...
Feels like a new Tab again.

I also got tired of waiting for the official ROM so I'm about to flash. It's my first time so wish me luck. *fingers crossed*

Im not sure if anyone else had this problem, the Red X when charging via USB. So i did some research for which kernel would be compatible with ICS on a tablet and found that the A1 Kernel does the job. Flashed it this morning and i was able to set my cpu to 1400 and when i plugged the tab into my pc it started charging properly (No red x). No performance issues yet.
