What are the reasons for high usage?

It's past 12 no heaters or geysers are on, but I am running at 1.1kw instantaneous.

We have
3 fridge freezer combos
1 large deep freezer
Lights about 150w
Modem, alarm, inverter, access points which cannot be more than 100w.

That's about it.

Have you tried switching everything off and switching on in turns?

The freezer / fridges could be adding around 40% to that - but unsure as to the rest ?
No chance you've missed something at all?

I used a Sonof POW (https://www.smartkit.co.za/product/sonoff-pow-r2/ ) ... install it onto a multi plug and went around plugging things in.

I don't think I can get to an idle of 1,000w+ (ex geyser / stove / heater) if I tried !

My Idle is 0.170kW.

The Fridge Freezer combo uses close to 200watt.
I bought the Efergy monitor and added in total 5 sensors, Mains, Geyser, Kitchen, Plugs and AV/Network setup.

Was a game to see how I can use the least amount over time.

Need to investigate this . I have a Shelley will hook upto a multipplug and see..

My daily usage is between 60 and 80 which is insane

Are those fridges and freezers sealed properly no ice forming in the back? A broken seal can cost you as the fridge constantly runs to keep cool.
Also older fridges ones under A rating can also pull a lot. I had an old chest freezer must've been 30 years old running and it chomped electricity.
Also the geyser when it kicks in can draw 4kw out of the bat.

Yeah I think it's the fact he's using 80kw a day though
Fekken cold front with wife and kid at home...

That's quite a bit and here I'm worried about 15kw a day

Lol! And I got upset when we started using 13kWh a day instead of 10

...but then we do pay a ridiculous rate of R2.43 per unit so FML.

Larnies

Last 9 days average was 87kw per day. A should mention a portion of that is used by my tenant which has a sub prepaid meter so I am unsure of their usage. I estimate around 20kw a day

We use a gas hob, and all lights are LED.

Generally use 2 gas heaters.

It's probably between the geysers that we are using so much

It could be the geysers there 2 on top of a slab roof
If your geysers are contributing to 50% of your electricity bill then it would make financial sense to look into getting a solar geyser or heat pump. You would probably recoup the cost in a year or two.

I assume so as they are completely exposed to the elements
