IEC puts on brave face

Except that it doesn't work. The voter registration site map gives you an error telling you that you need to enter a search criteria of one or more characters even if you type in your criteria.
If you are really unlucky though it locks up your PC and sends your CPU usage to 100%.

What a useless bunch.

I keep getting timeouts when connecting to the site.

I sms'd the number to see if I'm registered - says I'm registered to vote at ..... You are eligible to vote but may have to re-register? :confused:

Oh is that where our tax money goes, and no doubt the receiver of this 3 million rand contract is fully fledged BEE leech (or whatever that **** called on the day)
 
Parsing through the source of the site reveals very rudimentary table structure, rather antiquated javascript, badly nested tags and more... very little regard shown to the w3c guidelines on accessibility, summarised at sitepoint -accessibility, R230 000+ for this ?! :confused:
 
i also see that the "author meta" tag has now been removed.

so they are aware that we are after them
