iExplorer x 2

Kill it, then check task manager to see if it's completely off. Then open IE again and check how many instances of it are open.

Its normal in my case. I am running the 64 bit version, but some plugins start up the 32 bit version libraries up in the background. Not really using IE that much, consumes way too much memory.

1. It uses less memory when there are many windows open.
2. Many not needed stuff like Flash Player can be disabled.
3. Many times poorly designed java script rubbish crashes, cause less Internet traffic for the user. <g>

Umm why are you using Internet Hexplorer in the first place laaitjie? Download Firefox.

Internet Explorer opens up a new process for each separate Window. If you have two tabs, you see two instances. I have five tabs in my example, with five instances of IE.

This also reminds me, need to ditch 32-bit Chrome.

You're right. It's full bad.

It honestly blows my mind to know that each day that passes is another day that Microsoft doesn't tell anyone what its doing to match the capability of the Chrome browser, specifically with bookmark, history and password syncing between Windows Phone and Windows 8.1.

They really like throwing away open opportunities where they could improve, but somehow they do nothing.

I honestly didn't know that, but I use UC Browser on WP.
