So I wanted a few accesories for my newly acquired Apple Iphone 3G :D

I found www.igear.co.za and placed my 1st small order to test the waters total purchase price incl postage R268.00. I proceeded to deposit the money in their account 16 hours after placing the order.

Bear in mind that at the time of placing the order there was ZERO stock issues the items were in stock. Now 3 weeks later I have yet to recieve the 2 items I have ordered I have initiated 3 emails requesting a update on my order (I extremely impatient :rolleyes:)

I recieved this reply last night
Unfortunately our hands are tied – customs have had our goods for over a week. We only received our release notice at 17h00 today which was too late to collect our goods. We are getting our shipment tomorrow.We are busy with updates as we speak – hence the reason you are receiving a response to this late night e-mail.

Am I being unreasonable? I have ordered from other online stores before and got good service. iGear is really testing my patience
 
I was going to order a fm transmitter for my iphone for the car but then decided not to go ahead with checkout after reading some bad reviews on hello peter.

The FM transmitter was also going to be my next purchase :mad: the question now beckons. Where can these items be purchased if not with iGear? We are stuffed here in South Africa, to find a supplier that

1. Has the product.
2. Gives good service.

Is there any other place where Iphone accesories can be purchased online in our currency?
 
UPDATE

4 weeks after ordering & paying for a iPhone windows mounted 360 degree cradle. I get the package yesterday & guess what do I now own. A UNIVERSAL phone cradle. :mad: If I wanted to %#}{ing universal cradle I wouldve asked for one.

The cradle I ordered had a 4 corner locking system that is a snug fit for the iPhone not a universal cradle I couldve bought from the corner pakkie store.

There is a lesson in here somewhere DO NOT BUY A D@MN THING FROM IGEAR

I got what I ordered from iGEAR, maybe get in touch with them, I must have been a mistake.
 
To date I've placed 4 orders with iGear - not a single issue. Received everything I ordered on time.

Well I FINALLY did "receive" the ordered items. here is the problem I have.

I DID NOT ORDER THE GENERIC / UNIVERSAL PHONE HOLDER. I ORDERED THE IPHONE 360 DEGREE SUCTION CUP HOLDER. This item had a sleek design with 4 corner clip that fits the iPhone perfectly and did not inhibit the speak of the iPhone.

I find it a disgust to receive this holder you sent me. I could have purchased this thing at any Pakkie store on the Cape Town train Station. To say that I am upset will be a understatement.

In all my time of ordering things online (Take2, Iwantit, Amazon etc) I have never expierenced such shoddy customer service. YOU NEVER informed me that the item has changed you did however remove the item I ordered from your website and replaced it with this common piece of Japanese / Chinese junk.

I will NEVER purchase ANYTHING from your company again. If you had a store front I would come and smash the item in pieces. The money is not the issue. R200 is a small amount of money, but I will discourage all my fellow formites (Click Here <http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=182713> ) from buying from your online store. I am sure a somewhere there is a trustworthy company selling online that will supply the items that people order ON TIME and correctly.
