Anyone can cut and paste.

The picture was taken by Robert Yager for an article about L. A. street life.

I wonder now if they got permission to use the picture.

This is also the reason why Stuyvesant keep changing their packets constantly so people can differentiate between the fake and the real stuff.

I once bought a pack of Stuyvesant Blue from a Chinese cafe, but I swear the stuff were fake it tasted differently and also burned a lot quicker than the real thing.

I think you can tell that they are fake if you look under the box it should have 'engravings in it'.Either a sign or numbers I think.

The one I saw said something along the lines of the guy that sells you illegal cigarettes could be selling your family illegal drugs. That kind of idiotic scaremongering is hilarious in multiple ways.

Madman, if you pay close attention to the radio ads, you'll notice that it is sponsored by BAT... British American Tobacco.
That would be the same company that was strongly suspected of being involved in smuggling cigarettes in the UK.

sounds like the same crap they feed us about piracy!

Download a movie and a puppy dies. Same old lies.

clearly bat is losing $$$ to cheap chinese black market cigarettes.
not sure this was really initiated by the government tbh.

i love the way big tobacco is given the moral highground with these campaigns. classic.
and the leaps of logic are hilarious.
if these ads are anything to go by, we can solve all our rape, drugs, theft and other crime issues simply by not buying illegal cigarettes.

i'd love to make a knock off campaign:
"when my uncle had his larynx cut out due to cancer of the throat, he said nothing"
