Whatevs, that road is always messed up in the mornings, except if there are school holidays. I use Rigel and then the back route...
Traffic and/or police blocking one of the busiest highways in South Africa, both sides - a highway leading to and from South Africa's biggest airport - but then again we live in South Africa, what else can we expect from a bunch of idiots...

okay so I've inched through gridlock and now I have Officer Porker at my window.
I say "show me authorized documentation for this roadblock."
he has none.
now what? can I just drive off ignoring any of the swine's requests? Can I fine the bacon for his illegal behaviour? can I apply for my wasted time back?
what is the legal ground of someone who has just been dicked over by an illegal roadblock?
I never thought this could be done but yes they did it, roadblock on a highway of all the places. What kind of thought goes in before such decisions are made
On the other hand, if you do have proof, and 100% proof at that, that the roadblock is illegal - get a few cars and drive them all over. Afterwards claim that you thought they wanted to hijack you - present the evidence that there should not have been a roadblock, therefore the idea that they may have been hijackers in fake traffic police clothes and fake traffic vehicles. It will be long trial, but eventually you will walk away scott-free.
And I saw a guy reverse back onto the Allandale onramp to escape it :wtf:

That won't end well, trying to explain how you thought 10s of coppers in 10s of cars with cones and signage may have been hijackers?
Well, legally there was not supposed to be a roadblock - and you should have the evidence of that.. Then, no law-abiding honest police officer or traffic officer would have been there. I am totally shocked by the crime rate in SA, how crimes are committed and by who. So, I saw 10 criminals who decided to do a mass hijack and I did not want to get shot and killed by any of them alongside the highway, so - looking at all their (stolen) weapons, I decided to start running them over.....
In a hurry and not willing to waste hours?- Unlicensed Vehicle?
- Stolen Vehicle?
- Hijacked Vehicle?
- Vehicle involved in Offence?
- Illegal Drugs or Firearms in Vehicle?
- Explosives in Vehicle?
- Stolen Goods in Vehicle?
- Outstanding Traffic Fines & Warrants?
- Outstanding Warrants for other Offences?
