Maybe I should stop whining now and leave the country.

Not to be alarmist but there's basically a civil war / genocide going on in SA. Either we should leave, or get guns and start fighting. My suggestion, start shopping for nicer countries to live, it's just not worth it sitting around watching loved ones get tortured and slaughtered and waiting for same to happen to ourselves.

My sister had a short operation on her hands but I'll give you guys a final update when I hear more details from my mom.

Hey guys, one last update.

My sister's fine and should be discharged from the hospital tomorrow. The doctor says that she should make a complete recovery. I did get one detail wrong tho, it wasn't a nerve that got cut but a tendon. One in her left hand was completely severed and in her other hand she had one cut. The doctors fixed her up tho.
