I never really thought of the drinking aspect of working from home... many.. many of my interviews over the last few weeks make more sense to me now... buzzed candidates.

i love working at night, I miss that. It's quiet and peaceful and you dont get hot and sweaty and surrounded by a gazillion ****ing idiots at work. Kak thing is trying to sleep in the day when its bright through the curtains and the ****ing lawnmowers are outside somewhere and dogs barking and dickheads dropping their clutches and revving their citi golfs.
Oh wait, i live in a quiet suburb now and dont have any of that except sunlight

Ja night shift is not all bad.. No bosses around to disrupt my forum visits and Youtube viewing but unfortunately the gazillion idiots work night shift with me too. I stay in a complex so it's relatively quiet except every second Monday when the garden service arrives with 400 lawnmowers and leaf blowers. I just hang two curtains in the window and my room is pretty dark at it faces away from the sun.
I work for a printing company and part of our work is newspapers which gets printed at night ready for the okes on their way to work.
Only thing my buddies are all probably sitting in the pub now having a dop..

the only kak thing here sounds like social life
but i will take that job anyday
just to avoid traffic
hobos at traffic lights
flies in summer
i pass minimum 200 taxis to work in the morning on my bike and at least 100 going home. And no they dont drive in a straight line here in Cape Town, they zig zag between ALL the lanes stopping all cars from moving

During the day after lunch shops are quiet to grocery shop
Bottle stores are open

You can go to the beach and chill, or just go for a quiet hike.

I cut out spirits entirely. I only drink beer now. I started having black outs after a couple of shots. Wine makes me feel terrible the next day so don't bother with that either anymore.

I only drink beer, but yesterday I found a bottle of gin of the wife's after they left.

This is now prompting me to take Uber to the squatter camp. I can't wait until Tops opens as I don't lknow when that meeting will end.
