Oh, you just HAD to have that horrible white lens stuck on the camera didn't you..;)

Seriously - what are your first impressions.

My dad has a Lowerpro backpack and he said there is also a bigger one with enough space for a small tripod etc.

I'll have to have a look at those - thanks.

I've got the Red Pod and my coke bottle adaptor so a tripod isnt my first concern yet . . . . but that could change. :)

Thanks - last time I checked our local Macro they didnt have much in the way of larger bags/cases but that was before xmas so thing could easily have changed.

Ahh, the joys of living in a big city - I have 3 to choose from...
I'm sitting here on the patio, sipping my morning cup while watching the dolphins go past . . . . a solitary Makro 10 minutes away is a fair trade. :D

/me thinks bwana is boasting now... :D

/me is sitting on the verandah enjoying breakfast watching the goings on in the port...

Touché :D

While I can do without big city life (and I've lived in some of the biggest in my time) PEs rapid growth means I might not be able to for much longer. :o

Even though Durbs is a "big" city it just has the right vibe....

I think SA cities on the coast have the ability to keep the vibe whilst growing bigger.... so you may get lucky :)
