Fellow myBB members,

I just arrived in USA :), Bestbuy store is not too far away from me, I also plan to go to TheGalleria Mall its supposed to have #375 stores. Anyways I have a budget of $1500 to spoil myself. Any recommended buys? No iOS devices please, already have tons of them and no Samsung as well(On priciple: they are bloody copycats.

What part of the US are you visiting? Do you have e-reader / tablet? Samsung Galaxy's are hard to come by here atm. I also bought H20 filter system while there - wayyyy cheaper than through the local distributors. Like a third of the price or less.

Other things I want to look at on my next trip:
- Illy espresso makers: http://www.illyusa.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/subcat_machines_machines_espresso-machines

- Roomba http://www.irobot.com/

- Playseat http://www.playseat.com/en/playseat-rbr-1-seat

It looks OK, I wouldn't consider any tablet that gets trashed by iPad2(1 year old) in graphics department. But I have to admit it looks awesome. I might also consider getting Nook or Fire, looks like Playbook is about to go on Firesale in coming days, might grab one while prices are rock bottom.

I'm in Huston, Texas. Right now my priority is getting toys/gadgets. Other items such as Roomba will only consider next year, as I'll be staying here permanently :)
 
oooh that sounds awesome.. maybe a nice tv or a nice sound system.. something from Bose?? the Bose 3 2 1 speakerset..

As a temporary awesome thing to do, watch the highspeed internet download 100MB updates in a few seconds :D.

Sadly for me the Hotel that I'm residing in has dog-slow internet, I just did a Speedtest, I'm getting 0.37Mb down and 0.37Mb up, tomorrow I'm changing the Hotels, I don't care about room size as long as there is high speed broadband connectivity.
 
Now that you're there, you're one step closer to being on The Jerry Springer Show :)
