I upgraded to 20mbps VDSL (Uncapped Bundle) yesterday though my favourite ISP, Afrihost. They facilitated the entire thing and it went so smoothly it’s almost hard to believe. It took 2 days and I was up and running. I got the Pace modem through Telkom. Speeds are GREAT:

13 hours left on 100GB, that’s an amazing feeling :D

Last night I was watching my favourite streamer in FULL HD with no buffering (I could barely manage this on 10mbps previously). For the first time in a while I'm excited about he future of Broadband in SA, this is fantastic!
 
I thought you made this thread after eating a 2 double McDonalds supersize cheeseburgers and a large milkshake, lol.

It's the Afrihost 20mbps Uncapped bundle @ R1397.

I'll most likely move over to capped soon, the ADSL 20mbps line is only R540 and I typically use less than 300GB per month, it will cost about R200 less.

I've looked at the WebAfrica and Afrihost capped options, is there anyone else that can offer that kind of value right now? My preferred capped solution would be 100GB daytime + 200GB after hours.

LMAO! Bringing back the memories of flying in squadrons, beheadding campers with our wings while spamming radio... aah! The good old days :) Miss that game so bad. The new stuff sucks!
