I'm suddenly un-Rica'd

wow. 15 years on this MTN number, and today I call 808 to add a data bundle and I get
"this number was not Rica'd by the due date, and so we cannot forward you to an operator"

What the F&^^%$ MTN !!!!

I Rica'd. If I hadn't Rica'd you would have disconnected me a year ago with everyone else you disconnected then.
And now to sort the problem out I'm NOT ALLOWED TO SPEAK TO ANYONE???

!@#$%&* fuming mad. If there is an MTN person on this forum, he had better help me fast or its goodbye.

It happened to me too. I had proof of doing a RICA signup but a year later it got "lost" and had to do it again. Went to the same shop (Checkers) and it took 3 mins

Just be glad you haven't been un-FICA'd, has happened 3 times to me resulting in frozen bank accounts and at least a 48hr clearance period.

ok all sorted... will update here so that if anyone has this problem in future they can see a solution.
Went first thing this morning to MTN store at Cresta with Rica Docs. No Sir you are already Rica'd.... so they couldn't help. I had to get to a MTN SP store.... I didn't have time, so I sent an email to MTN SP (remember I wasn't allowed to phone) and immediately we had correspondence back and forth for most of the day trying to sort it coz also at MTN SP I was also indicating that I was Rica'd. Then this afternoon I called 808 and made up any old MTN number just to get thru to an operator and it worked, then the lady on the other side found that even tho i had Rica'd at MTN, the actual RICA site wasn't updated with my details... and she sorted it out online. Done. Happy again.
